Ms. Franco,

Your passing has left my family and I with aching hearts. Liam and the many other students were so fortunate to have you as their educator. You were a ray of sunshine, full of life, yet able to present discipline in hopes of your students being the best they could possibly be.

Liam loved you, we all loved you, and your absence is felt immensely. It forever will be felt. Your voice danced throughout the hallways, throughout our home for months during the time of the distance learning. You led every class so well, without instructions, without a manual—-yet, you were so successful with these new circumstances you and the students were all given. You were our normal, you made my brother so happy and I will ensure he stays focused academically and remains a respectful individual throughout his life, in your honor. We miss you and I pray that God wraps his arms around your family and all of your loved ones. Spread your wings and fly, Ms. Franco! Watch over all of us!

Krista and I both moved from the central valley to Monterey the same year and almost the same month - July 2015. It brought us comfort to know that we 2 single women moving to a new city had each other. Krista was a bright light and bundle of energy. We spent a lot of time touring, movies, eating out, or just strolling the beach. She was excited to see a dolphin I pointed out to her on Del Monte beach. It was that unbridled kind of enthusiasm and energy that drew all of us to her. Although I had to return to the central valley and lost touch, I will forever hold precious memories of our time together. God love and keep you, Krista. Your passing broke a lot of hearts.
