Leonardo Alfonso Salgado

Nayo to his family, Leo to his friends and colleagues, was born February 21, 1976 in Tijuana, Mexico. He leaves many to cherish his memory, including his mother, Velia del Carmen Salgado López, his father, Sergio René Salgado (Julie McLaughlin), his sister, Erandi Salgado (Jacob J. Blatt), his brother, Sergio René Salgado (Sarah Cary Hanson), four nephews and nieces whom he adored, his dog, Cowboy, and countless family and friends.

He was an avid golfer and lover of the outdoors, including surfing, paddleboarding, snowboarding, running and taking Cowboy to the beach. He was remarkable in his ability to positively engage with everyone he met, and was always available to help family, neighbors, clients, and friends.

Thank you, Nayo, for the light and love you brought into our lives. You were a gift to all of us. Thank you for being you, a beautiful soul, genuine, loving, empathic, and always there for others. We will always love you.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 22nd at 11am at San Rafael Catholic Church, 17252 Bernardo Center Dr., San Diego, CA 92128. All are welcome.
