Franklin Delano Rothwell

My beloved husband Frank Rothwell Passed away on May 31st at the age of 78. He was born on December 28th, 1944 in New Bedford, Massachusetts, and lived mostly in Acushnet until moving to California in 1987.

After graduating from New Bedford Vocational High School, he spent a year in Connecticut before enlisting in the Army. While in the Army he attended Signal School and later served in Korea.

After leaving the Army Frank went on to become a Master Electrician and taught electrical at Old Rochester Regional Technical High School for 11 years. Frank opened up his own electrical contracting business, FDR & Sons Electric after moving to California.

Frank loved to spend time cruising the world, especially with his family. He also loved to bird watch, play cards and just visit with family and friends.

Frank is survived by his wife, Yvonne, son Franklin Rothwell II, stepsons Hank, Chris and Daniel Berry, daughters-in-Law Karen Rothwell and Nida Berry, sister Shirley Cabral, brothers Frederick, Danny and Richard Rothwell, grandchildren Jackson and Emma Rothwell, Sophia, Riley, Ryan, Chloe and Maddy Berry and many nieces and nephews.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents Frederick Rothwell and Mildred (Clapp), by son Wade John Rothwell, Wade and Frank II's mother Carol Correia Rothwell, brother Kenny, sisters Dorothy Gifford, Noel Fisher and Jennie Rothwell and grandson Nathan Casey.

Frank was deeply loved and respected by his entire family.

This is a loss so deep that words cannot express it properly, nor describe how very very much he will be missed.
