Antonio Luis Barragan

Antonio “Tony” “Bochy” Barragan passed away peacefully on May 13, 2023 at the age of 86. He was born and raised in El Paso, Texas. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Bertha "Lunga" Barragan and together they raised their four children, Ida Rodriguez (Sam), Barbara Bruce (Bobby), Tony Barragan and Louie Barragan (Maria). He was very proud and the happiest spending time with his beloved nine grandchildren, Steven and Brian Rodriguez, Denise Ramirez , Isaac and Anthony Bruce, Mark and Maria Barragan, Mandy Gallegos and Louie Barragan. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren and 16 godchildren. He proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1954 to 1956 and retired from M&M Refrigeration after 30 years before moving to Seal Beach, California where he resided for 27 years. The family would like to thank the staff and caregivers at Angel Comfort Care in Anaheim, California for their devotion, empathy and dedication to our father’s comfort. We will be forever grateful.
